Celebrating 15 Years of Branch Insurance Group: A Journey Built on Relationships

This July marks a milestone that means more to me than I can put into words.

Fifteen years ago, Branch Insurance Group officially opened its doors with one goal: to serve people well. At the time, I couldn’t have imagined all the places this journey would take us, the relationships we would build, or the lives that would become connected to our story.

In 2024, we rebranded as Branch Insurance Group to better reflect the comprehensive services we now provide. While our name evolved, our mission never did. We remain committed to helping individuals, families, and businesses protect what they’ve built while creating opportunities for growth and peace of mind.

When I think about the past fifteen years, I don’t first think about premium volume or business milestones. I think about people.  I think about the clients who trusted a young agency with their businesses. I think about the vendors and carrier partners who believed in us before we had a long track record. I think about employees who poured their talent, energy, and heart into serving our customers every day.

Every success we’ve experienced has been a team effort.

Like every business, our journey hasn’t been without challenges. We’ve weathered economic uncertainty, changing insurance markets, staffing transitions, and even a global pandemic. Through every season, one thing remained constant: our commitment to doing the right thing for our clients.  That commitment has allowed us to grow from a local benefits agency into a nationally licensed insurance organization serving clients across multiple industries, including employee benefits, commercial insurance, personal insurance, financial services, transportation, aviation, and specialty risk.

As exciting as our growth has been, what makes me most proud is our culture. We believe business should create impact. We believe relationships matter more than transactions. We believe leadership means serving others. Those values continue to guide every decision we make. Our commitment to giving back and serving our community is a core value of our business – one which we are proud to share in our yearly Community Impact Report.

Our theme this year is “Be The Piece.” It reminds our team that each person has an important role in building something bigger than themselves. Looking back over these fifteen years, I realize our story has been built piece by piece through every client, every partnership, every employee, and every opportunity we’ve been blessed to receive.
